Screenshot trick 2

Screenshot trick number 2 - Level 2 - Easy

BLUR IN THE FOREGROUND - BLUR IN THE BACKGROUND - CLEAR FOCUS POINT

Hi,

New screenshot tip!!!! number 2!!!!  :)

This technique is very easy and can improve a lot your images.

This visual aspect is rare on screenshots. I don't see it very often. Why? I don't know :)

It's a pity because it can add a lot of style. So, now you got it...Only on Skyrim Scandal  !

Let's start!

First, create the base of your screenshot and chose the framing you like for your image. It's important to have 3 different plans.

In this case, my 3 plans are:

- foreground : the maple (on the left)

- focus : the character

- background : ferns and all the backgroung of the image (pines, rocks, water)

( I always recommend you to start your image without Depth of field)

Now, as usual, open your ENBGUI and activate the DOF (depth of field) of your ENB (click "enabledepthoffield" ). Then, activate the "Display AF cursor" and place it on your character (AF positionX and AF position Y to move it).

Now , it's the most important value of the tip. Set the "AF nearblurcurve " to the minimum : 1

With this command, we ask the enb to blur all objects on the foreground (the maple on the left in this case).

Now , we ask to the enb to blur the background of our shot....just after the character. Set the "AF far blur curve" to 0.79. This value depends of your shot...but this value is a good example. In all cases, you focus point must be clear and your character sharped.

Now we must set the general power of the blur on all the image.

I recommend a big value. In this shot i set the "aperture size%" to 10.49. It's a lot, but the blur is enormous. I like and it's the goal.

Optional: At this point, the base of the image is done. You can add all effects you want. Some ideas : bokeh/grain/philter/black bar. It's totally optionnal. In my case, i don't add anything.

Remove the red AF cursor, remove the ENBGUI and exit the consol. Your image is done. We have a blurry foreground (mapple), a sharped character, and a blurry background.

Mission accomplished!
